Summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan explores uncharted territory in the new Torpedo Ink Motorcycle Club novel。

When Savin “Savage” Pajari and Seychelle Dubois first met, their connection was instant, their attraction undeniable。 Their relationship has been full throttle since day one。 Even though months have passed, the passion and love between them has only increased。

Savage completely owns what he is: a sadist in the bedroom who can only get off on his partner’s pain。 He believes he’s not a good man, but he loves Seychelle with a fierceness that shocks him。 He wants all of her, but only if she gives herself freely with eyes wide open。

Seychelle never imagined the lure of mixing pain with pleasure, or how much she’d crave Savage’s darkness。 She’s been shaken to her core, but Seychelle is committed to Savage and their life together—even though he’s keeping a piece of himself back。 And to truly make their relationship work, he has to give her everything that he is, just as she is doing for him。

Savage knows that what he really needs could break his woman if she isn’t ready。 She agreed to come into his world, and he’s not about to give her up。 He has to find a way to let her see the monster inside without pushing her away。 But the real Savage might be more than Seychelle can bear。。。and he knows he wouldn’t survive losing her。

As much as I love Christine Feehan, this book was a bit too intense for me。 We know Savage and his nature by now, and Feehan didn't pull her punches with his story。 I know this story is going to mean a lot to some people。 This book definitely isn't going to appeal to most people。 The previous book, anniahlation road will be a better fit for most audiences。 The list of triggers is extensive, and included in the beginning of the book。 As much as I love Christine Feehan, this book was a bit too intense for me。 We know Savage and his nature by now, and Feehan didn't pull her punches with his story。 I know this story is going to mean a lot to some people。 This book definitely isn't going to appeal to most people。 The previous book, anniahlation road will be a better fit for most audiences。 The list of triggers is extensive, and included in the beginning of the book。 。。。more

I have not read the previous book in this series following Savage and Seychelle。 So while the author did do a good job of catching us up to some of the things that happened I did find myself a little lost at times, so I would definitely recommend reading that one first。 Seychelle is trying to come to terms with the man she is in love with。 She knows that his club comes first, and that they do some dangerous things that could put him in danger。 All she wants is to be an equal partner in their rel I have not read the previous book in this series following Savage and Seychelle。 So while the author did do a good job of catching us up to some of the things that happened I did find myself a little lost at times, so I would definitely recommend reading that one first。 Seychelle is trying to come to terms with the man she is in love with。 She knows that his club comes first, and that they do some dangerous things that could put him in danger。 All she wants is to be an equal partner in their relationship。 However Savage is worried that if she truley knew who he is, and what happened in his life to make him the way he is, that she will leave him。 Over the course of the story we get alot of Seychelle trying to make sure her and Savage can have a true partnership。 He constantly wants to hide what he does for the Club, and uses that as an excuse。。 Its Club business so it can't be discussed。 This leaves Seychelle with the feeling that she will always come second。。 and that when the club does let her come around its only so they can use her and her abilities。 she can do different things with her voice, like keep people calm, along with some other abilities。 Now both of them are trying to figure out how to make their relationship work。 How to balance what they want and need from each other with what Savage needs to be to help the club。。 The whole Torpedo Ink series is definitely darker and grittier than any of Christine Feehans other series that I have read。 So if you like literal tortured heros finding love , and dont mind the constant。。 im not sure if it would be considered BDSM or not。 then you should check this series out。 Most of them can be read as standalones but I would definitely read Annihilation Road first。 。。。more

A wickedly decadent continuation of Savage and Seychelle's life together! With the seventh book in her always intriguing Torpedo Ink series Christine Feehan brings us the 2nd book revolving around Savage and his way of coping with life and all the ugliness it throws the club's way。 I enjoy these two as a couple, but felt like this book was actually not necessarily needed to make them feel complete。 There was a slight healing of the rift between her and his club, but most of the landscape was sti A wickedly decadent continuation of Savage and Seychelle's life together! I received an electronic ARC from Berkley Publishing Group through NetGalley。An intense read with potential triggering scenes。 DO READ the author's notes and warnings before reading part two of Savage and Seychelle's story。 I also recommend reading Annihilation Road first as this is the sequel and refers to events that occurred in the first book。Readers return to Torpedo Ink's characters and see how Savage and Seychelle have continued to develop their relationship。 No one hides the fact that Sav I received an electronic ARC from Berkley Publishing Group through NetGalley。An intense read with potential triggering scenes。 DO READ the author's notes and warnings before reading part two of Savage and Seychelle's story。 I also recommend reading Annihilation Road first as this is the sequel and refers to events that occurred in the first book。Readers return to Torpedo Ink's characters and see how Savage and Seychelle have continued to develop their relationship。 No one hides the fact that Savage is a sadist and introduces Seychelle to this lifestyle。 His reasons are valid and make sense in the storyline but it requires an open mind to read some of the scenes。 The focus on trust is a huge portion of this story。 Just as readers have seen in the past books in this series, the two main characters here have to have complete trust to function as a couple。 The challenges involved in this are central to the storyline。Unlike other books about Torpedo Ink, the focus on ending child abuse takes a back seat to a trip into their past to see how severe the actual abuse was for Savage and others in the group。 Again, this could be triggering so be prepared to witness intense pain and torture。 It's heartbreaking to see how he was molded into the person he is。 This is not my favorite of the series though I appreciate Foster's craftsmanship。 This one filled in some gaps in the backstory and brought readers further into the club's world but did not have a main focus on their critical work to stop child abusers。 。。。more

Decent read and it's good to see members of Torpedo Ink get the person they can be happy with, but I'm getting tired of the female leads going twenty something years in all this virginal innocence while the guys are out in the streets getting all this sexual seasoning。 I'd just like to see some realistic portrayals because these ladies are supposed to be so hawt with banging bodies and never experimented in any way and are only attracted to this one man。 One man who she so happens to match in bd Decent read and it's good to see members of Torpedo Ink get the person they can be happy with, but I'm getting tired of the female leads going twenty something years in all this virginal innocence while the guys are out in the streets getting all this sexual seasoning。 I'd just like to see some realistic portrayals because these ladies are supposed to be so hawt with banging bodies and never experimented in any way and are only attracted to this one man。 One man who she so happens to match in bdsm tastes 。。。more

Fantastically Dark MC ReadLet’s start out first by saying that if you have a hard time handling extreme darkness don’t read because it does not deserve to get fewer stars because of this reason。 With that said some of us are drawn to the writing skills that Ms。 Freehand gives us with her fantastic series of the Torpedo Ink MC。 This is the story of Savage who is a sexual sadist and has been fighting his demons throughout。 A very special woman comes into his life that could help Savage with his pa Fantastically Dark MC ReadLet’s start out first by saying that if you have a hard time handling extreme darkness don’t read because it does not deserve to get fewer stars because of this reason。 With that said some of us are drawn to the writing skills that Ms。 Freehand gives us with her fantastic series of the Torpedo Ink MC。 This is the story of Savage who is a sexual sadist and has been fighting his demons throughout。 A very special woman comes into his life that could help Savage with his past if only he’ll let her。 Seychelle has special powers as well that would prove very useful with the members of Torpedo Ink。 To say that this story drew me in is an understatement。 For me I felt extreme sadness as to how the members of Torpedo Ink were raised up from children to become child assassins。 Their pasts consumed me but I admire the way they have changed their lives to helping others and trying to overcome what they endured。 I have loved each and every member that I’ve read in this series and it has become one of my favorites。 I always look forward as to what Ms。 Freehand can bring me in more of the Torpedo Ink series。 。。。more

Loved this one more than the first one。 This book really gets into the nitty gritty details of being Savage and what being with him means。 It also is a rollercoaster of emotion with Seychelle because of the club and how they treat her。 Lines were drawn and at that point in the book I did not want to put it down。 This one wrapped up all of the loose ends from the last book and actually made some of them so they can’t come back to the club。 But they did discover a new enemy in this book which I’m Loved this one more than the first one。 This book really gets into the nitty gritty details of being Savage and what being with him means。 It also is a rollercoaster of emotion with Seychelle because of the club and how they treat her。 Lines were drawn and at that point in the book I did not want to put it down。 This one wrapped up all of the loose ends from the last book and actually made some of them so they can’t come back to the club。 But they did discover a new enemy in this book which I’m really curious to see how it develops。 I’m glad that this book and the last one were so good because I was starting to loose interest in this series。 I guess I just needed the right characters。 *I received an ARC for an honest review* 。。。more

Good, but not as gripping as the other books in the series。 Both these books are more about the sexual sadism and not about the attempts to stop human trafficking, child abuse, etc。 You really could sort of pluck these two books out and read them as a stand alones because they don't really follow the plot arcs of the previous books。 Likewise, if sexual sadism isn't something you want to read about, you could skip these two books and not miss anything。 Good, but not as gripping as the other books in the series。 Both these books are more about the sexual sadism and not about the attempts to stop human trafficking, child abuse, etc。 You really could sort of pluck these two books out and read them as a stand alones because they don't really follow the plot arcs of the previous books。 Likewise, if sexual sadism isn't something you want to read about, you could skip these two books and not miss anything。 。。。more

"He might be rough and too controlling, but he would move the world for her, if she needed it moved。"Saying that I'm addicted to the Torpedo Ink series would be an understatement。 It is the world where I discovered the amazing talent of Christine Feehan。 There are so many things that I love about her style of writing。 She draws you in and makes you feel something。 She somehow brings her characters to life in a way that you feel like you are experiencing everything with them。 This series, in "He might be rough and too controlling, but he would move the world for her, if she needed it moved。"Saying that I'm addicted to the Torpedo Ink series would be an understatement。 It is the world where I discovered the amazing talent of Christine Feehan。 There are so many things that I love about her style of writing。 She draws you in and makes you feel something。 She somehow brings her characters to life in a way that you feel like you are experiencing everything with them。 This series, in particular, as the members of the club are survivors, is extremely graphic in a way that you feel their pain and their fury as they remember or tell others what happened to them。Because of their shared past, their bond is unbreakable。 They are family。 As the series continues, the different members find love, and it doesn't come easy。 They have good reason to be cautious about outsiders。 They have up close and personal experience with betrayal。 They've also said and done things to survive that make them question themselves。 My heart breaks for all of them, and in Savage Road it's Savage that pulled my heart strings。 "No one, no one could love a monster, least of all an angel。 And that's what Seychelle is to him, his angel。She has so much light, and he has so much darkness。 He thinks he doesn't deserve her。 He's afraid his demons are too much for her to handle。 Will he be strong enough to let her try? This series has so many moving parts。 So much that keeps me coming back for more。 There's club business as they deal with enemies and danger, working together to protect their family。 They are beautifully broken bossy badasses which are my kryptonite。 Who can resist all that yumminess? Let's not forget the kinky sexy times, plenty of those to keep you running the AC in winter。 They each have unexplainable and very interesting gifts。 And there is very entertaining banter that keeps me giggling in between。 Here's one of my faves。 "Stop saying fuck and angel in the same sentence, Savage," she whispered。 "You're going to go to hell if you keep that up。"There is so much more to look forward to in coming installments。 I can't wait! The line forms here。。。 。。。more

Typically I love Feehan's books, I have read all of her series。 However, the Torpedo Ink series has been one of the roughest for me to enjoy。 I get that all the characters have their kink and that's totes fine。 As well as survivors their kinks has its own roots。 As a survivor myself I truthfully can understand that perspective。But where you lost me was in the depiction of a certain activity that shouldn't happen to childre being written as it most definitely should not be written - as too much p Typically I love Feehan's books, I have read all of her series。 However, the Torpedo Ink series has been one of the roughest for me to enjoy。 I get that all the characters have their kink and that's totes fine。 As well as survivors their kinks has its own roots。 As a survivor myself I truthfully can understand that perspective。But where you lost me was in the depiction of a certain activity that shouldn't happen to childre being written as it most definitely should not be written - as too much pleasure。 In the past and in this series you look to help children in unwanted circumstances; however the way you wrote about the instances and labeled them as a pleasurable moment you are uplifting that behavior towards children rather than saying what it is - rape。 I hope you will correct the verbage in this book - as a survivor I implore you。 I am more worried that the wrong type of people will begin to read your books。Unfortuanetly, with how triggering this book was to me - I had to stop and put it down many times。 I am unsure if I will be able to finish it; I stopped at Chapter 5 (20。2%)As a parent and adult I would not use the term pleasure on a prebusent child remembering their past。Score 1/5 。。。more

Savage is such an intense and wounded character that I could not see a way to give him a happily ever after in one quick, easy romance novel。 The role he plays for Torpedo Ink tied in with his history, angst, and needs are a confusing wealth of complication。 Throughout Annihilation Road, we see Savage and Seychelle learn each other and begin to realize their suitability and love for each other, but with everything each person is bringing into their relationship, they definitely needed a second story to figure out how all of their pieces fit together。 Savage is still hiding so much about his past and role in Torpedo Ink and Seychelle still has a lot of realization and coming to grips with what she's gotten herself into。 I absolutely loved the tension between characters, Seychelle's challenge of Czar and the other Torpedo Ink members, and the continue sprinkling in of Alena's story and the conflict with Diamondbacks。 That and the continuation of Seychelle's villain from Annihilation Road (there are two in this story, one is dealt with) all culminate in an enrapturing read that was an excellent deviation from my normal stressful life! 。。。more
